tax return fumbles

completing a tax return is never a fun job, I don't care what the happy, friendly adverts are trying to tell you all the time. Of course that's not to say they are possibly the worst experience you are likely to have over the course of you're life, like a yearly ceremonial sacrifice to inland revenue.. but never the less I dread filling mine in, each and every time. 


this year's was no exception, and after floundering in piles of papers and post-it notes I found my login details and went about filling in the various sections and ticking boxes etc. All in all, it took 35 minutes. That's 30 minutes longer than I would of liked it to. 


I did enjoy the question that asked... "have you been part of any tax avoidance schemes in the last tax year?" - wonderful.
