The Tune - My favourite review here comes from Jordy Kasko of The Tune, a seemingly endless site of musical discovery. I seem to have got through to this particular writer, and I'm so pleased I did, a big thank you to you Jordy, if you ever read this! Electronic Rumours - A great little review here, I can't find out who wrote it unfortunately but they appear to like the album, and I do love a bit of funk, you're quite right. Check out the review here. They've also just put out a rather splendid compilation as well.
Dance Yrself Clean - Here's a brief post about 'I Want To Show You Loving' - the writer says it's the perfect companion to 'I Want To Know What Love Is' by Foreigner which (un-surprisingly) I was listening to around the time I wrote it... They also use the word Eargasm, which I liked. Thanks to Danielle and don't forget to check out her blog here.
Sounds Good To Me Too - Matt Simmonds has done his research here, having discovered nothing much else about Chesterfield that's of interest he compares my album to summer evenings on a Mediterranean island and rambling through peaceful Scandinavian forests, both of which sound lovely to me, If only I had the time and finances to provide for them. Chaotisch Und Charmant - The oldest review here, regarding my EPs 'Home' & 'Bay'. The stand out line for me is... So there we have it, a few of my favourites from the last year - I'm glad to say there are a lot more great reviews out there (and some not so great) that I've thoroughly enjoyed reading - and I can't thank everyone enough for taking the time to listen to and consequently write about my music.
